Der Baukasten enthält 12 bzw. 24 Basen, die 8 Codons in einem einsträngigen Messenger-RNA-Modell entsprechen, sowie 4 „kleeblattförmige“ Transfer-RNA-Moleküle und 4 Aminosäure-Moleküle. Zusammen mit Segmenten der DNA-Doppelhelix-Modelle (1005297 / 1005298) ist der Bausatz einsetzbar zur Modelldarstellung der RNA-Bildung durch TRANSKRIPTION.
